It's Star Wars day and we are here to tell you it is okay to mix your fandoms. Chiefs may not have a Star Wars theme Night like the Royals do at K, but I know that Chiefs Kingdom has some fans WHO can appreciate Star Wars. The biggest one is perhaps Chiefs receiver Chris Conley. Conley has been what essentially amount to a lifelong fan of Star Wars. In his review of Rogue One: Star Wars Story on Players Tribune, he breaks down how his Retribution Fan Film was born. Retribution start as what was supposed to be a simple lightsaber duel and grow into something bigger. Largely because of the involvement of those around Conley at the University of Georgia and the Georgia Football program. You dont even have to be a lover of science fiction to enjoy stories that Star Wars films tell or even those found in Conleys Fan Film. The lessons you learn are all somewhat universal and relevant to life and even football. That sounds a whole lot like football to me. You can watch Retribution in its entirety at the top of the page. Well, Chiefs were punched directly in the mouth early on in this game, but still managed to come out with the win. The Broncos ' red zone defense was the epitome of a bend-but-don't-break mentality and forced the Chiefs to settle for five field goals rather than touchdowns. A big touchdown was called back late in the game and the Chiefs only mustered one touchdown during the entirety of the matchup. Players respond and gutted out win. Here are Our Players of Game for Week 13: Kansas City Chiefs took care of business on Sunday Night Football, defeating the Denver Broncos 22-16. They swept the Broncos this season, which also means that the team has officially clinched the playoff berth. All the team needed to do to clinch this week was to come away with a win and they did just that. This marks the sixth consecutive season that the Chiefs have made it to the playoffs, tying the franchise record set by Marty Schottenheimer's team in the '90s. This also marks the third consecutive season that the Chiefs have gone to the playoffs. We made it through one of the Kansas City Chiefs games of season. The Denver Broncos took control early in this one, keeping the ball away from Patrick Mahomes and the KC offense. They find out just like everyone else do that you can't keep Mahomes down for long. He took control of the game in the second half and the defense wrap things up in bow for a 22-16 final score.
