The Bioethics Program belongs of the NIEHS' Ethics Program that provides academic, scholarly, and management support for research honesty at the NIEHS. The Bioethics Program provides annual training in responsible conduct of research and enrollers workshops, and focus groups on moral problems in environmental health research. The NIEHS' bioethicist, David B. Resnik, J. D. , Ph. D. , works closely with the NIEHS Ethics Office, the NIEHS Institutional Review Board, the NIEHS Office of Human Research Compliance, and the NIEHS Office of the Scientific Director to develop institutional policies that advertise research stability and compliance with federal research plans and regulations. Dr. Resnik conducts interdisciplinary research on ethical, legal, and social issues in ecological wellness research and provides consultations for scientists and administrators on bioethics concerns, troubles, and worries. Bioethics is the research study of moral, social, and lawful problems that emerge in biomedicine and biomedical research.
