Immunotherapy is a cancer therapy that helps your immune system battle cancer. Organic therapy uses substances that are made from living organisms, or variations of these substances that are made in a lab. Medical professionals don't yet use immunotherapy as often as other cancer treatments, such as surgical treatment, radiation treatment, and radiation therapy. But they do use immunotherapy for some types of cancer, and researchers are doing scientific tests to see whether it additionally works for other types. When you have cancer, several of your cells start to multiply without quiting. One reason that the cancer cells can keep spreading out and expanding is that they have the ability to conceal from your immune system. Some immunotherapies can "mark" your cancer cells. Other types of immunotherapies work by increasing your immune system to work better against cancer. For bladder cancer, they may place it straight into your bladder. The most common side effects are skin responses at the needle website, if you get it by IV.
