Your lungs take air in to give your body oxygen, which the body needs to work. Old lung cells die and are changed by new, identical lung cells. Lymph nodes are filters that assist avoid ailment and infection. The pleural space is space in between the lungs and breast wall. The right lung has 3 lobes. The left lung has 2 lobes. The left lung is a little smaller due to the fact that the heart also occupies space on the left side of your upper body. Bronchial tubes are respiratory tract tubes from the throat to the lungs. Blood vessels are pathways that bring blood into the lungs and throughout the body.
