The Precision Oscillation and Reactor Spectrum Experiment is an activator neutrino experiment operating at very brief standards to make precision change and energy spectral dimensions of atomic power plant antineutrinos. While these antineutrinos have an exceptionally weak interaction with normal matter, the goal of PROSPECT is to look for a signature of these bits oscillating or altering into a clean and sterile type of neutrino which has no communication with normal matter aside from by gravity. The PROSPECT collaboration is now preparing updated detector, PROSPECT-II, to probe yet undiscovered criterion space for sterile neutrinos and add to a complete resolution of the Reactor Antineutrino Anomaly, a historical puzzle in neutrino physics.
