It's getting down to wire on 18 Season of Voice. Live shows are set to begin on Monday. Live performances will come with a twist this year. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, contestants won't be singing in front of a live audience or coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas. Instead, 17 finalists will perform remotely from the comforts of their homes around the United States while Carson Daly hosts the show from a socially-distanced soundstage. They've all been given state-of-art camera and audio equipment to best capture their performances, and they were each hooked up with wardrobe and choreography advice to help them put on their best performance. Viewers will also get a more intimate view of artists' lives outside of competition in behind-scenes footage of their preparation process along with their online interaction with coaches, who will also be filming remotely. Jonas and Legend will mentor each of their artists via video chat from their digs in Los Angeles while Blake and Clarkson check in with their team members from their respective abodes in Oklahoma and Montana. Similar to live shows in previous seasons, viewers across America will be able to vote for their favorite artists once the show is over on Monday. Then on Tuesday's show, voting results will be revealed and artists will learn live which of them will move forward to the next Round. The bottom two contestants will perform live while America votes to save one of them in real-time on social media. The beginning of live shows will also mark a particularly special episode for four contestants who were saved by coaches earlier in the season. Singers perform in the first-ever four-way Battle Round during part two of Knockouts in April, after which viewers were given plenty of time to vote for one artist to send to life For first order of business on the live show on Monday, Daly will reveal which of four contestants will move ahead. Now that we've got all the logistics out of the way, let's get on with the who's who competition. Read on to find out a little bit more about each of the contestants head to Season 18 live shows on Voice below. Voice live shows air on NBC on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 pm

Coaches and hosts

Nick Jonas will join coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton for season 18. The voice rookie is officially replacing Gwen Stefani, who gave up her red chair to focus on her residency in Las Vegas. This update was revealed during season 17 Blind Auditions when Nick shared a video explaining the latest addition to his resumeand made it clear that hes ready to take on his more experienced competition. While I am excited about working with you guys, I am coming for you, he say. It is going to be a fun time. Kelly and John are more than ready to welcome their next celeb co-worker, though for Blake that sadly means hell have to say goodbye to his girlfriend. Blake previously claimed that he's going to bully Nick, but we find evidence that suggests he might have been lying to everyone about his relationship with the new coach. John said it best: you've got some explaining to do, Blake!

The Knockouts

Coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas will say goodbye to a few more team members on Voice on Monday night. 10 Episode of Season 18 will kick off with Part two of Knockouts, which means NBC singing competition will come to an unfortunate end for a few more contestants. But before anybody gets boot, some of the remaining artists will take to the stage and compete against teammates hand-pick by their coach. Unlike Battles, during which coaches pair members of their team up to sing song together, Knockouts will give each competitor the chance to sing a song of their own, choosing completely solo. Whoever does best will be chosen to move forward to live shows. Before they hit the stage though, performers will get some special advising by Season 18's Mega Mentor, James Taylor, who will provide additional coaching to every remaining artist on Blake, Kelly, John and Nick's team. Voice's upcoming Episode is a particularly special one, too. It mark first time in the competition's history that four contestants save during Battles will face off in a four-way sing-off. Team Blake's Todd Michael Hall will sing against Team Kelly's Samantha Howell as well as Team Legend's Nelson Cade III and Team Nick's Michael Williams. Only one person will come out of the four-way knockout with a chance to move forward to live shows. While Voice airs, we'll be here providing live-blogged coverage of the show, including results of each Knockout battle. Elimination chart

It's showtime folks, and the most important night of the season. Top 5 final performances at that! Show Open up with Carson at Hollywood studio by himselfalthough, he's got a team of socially-distance camera operators and producers there helping him out. He introduces coaches Blake, Kelly, John and Nick, who are all appearing on camera from their respective homes. Carson explains how tonight's show is going to go: Each of the top five artists will sing two songsone, of which will be a new original. But first Toneisha Harris, Todd Tilghman, Thunderstorm Artis, CammWess and Micah Iverson will perform a group performance. They're singing Collective Soul's shine. Back from the first commercial break, Carson reveals CammWess of Team Legend is the first person to perform. We get a glimpse of Camm's incredible Journey on the Show. After being originally picked by John and then dumped in Battles, Camm ended up right back on John's team after the coach saved him from elimination during the Knockouts. For his final cover, Camm's going to sing Prince's classic hit Purple Rain. It's first time Prince Song has received clearance for performance on Voice from the late musician's estate. Camm's performance begin. He's on stage at a venue in his South Carolina hometown. He looks great surrounded by purple lights, but he sounds even better. Applause all around for CammWess. Kelly is full of praise for the young singer and said that Camm is so gifted while Nick was blown away by the production value and Camm's incredible vocals. It was an amazing way to open this show tonight, Nick say. As for John, he said he knew his team members wouldn't let him down. He came with so much passion as well, so much artistry. And when Prince Estate reached out to me and ask, 'Will you vouch for this guy ', I felt very very comfortable vouching for him, and you see why, because he does a beautiful job with that Song. And he's a beautiful job throughout the season, John say. Next up to perform is Team Blake member Todd Tilghman. The pre-record video offers a glimpse of Blake and Todd's time together, connecting via web video and rehearsing his chosen cover, I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe. It's great Song for Todd considering the fact that he is pastor in his town of Meridian, Mississippi, and it's choice his coach knows he will knock out the park. Blake advised him to really lose himself in the lyrics of Song and feel performance. Todd quite literally takes us to church with a powerful gospel performance, which he delivers from the stage of his chapel. John said he's loved watching Todd's Journey throughout the whole show and said the singer delivered a wonderful performance. Kelly, who was moved to tears by Todd's performance, said she wanted to visit Todd's church not just to hear him sing but to hear him speak.

Team Nick

Voice season 19 premieres Monday night, but without one coach from last season: Nick Jonas. Over summer, show announced that Jonas Brothers band members were leaving and that No Doubt's Gwen Stefani would take his place alongside fellow coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. While many Voice fans are excited about seeing Gwen and Blake's real-life romance play out during the singing competition show, others are understandably bum about Nick's departure. I love Gwen but last season was awesome w / Nick. Please bring him back with one fan wrote on Instagram. Nick was so good and will be miss, another remarked.
